The Bed and Breakfast
Rosevanion is a large Victorian House, with light spacious comfortable rooms, which have tea and coffee making facilities, colour T.V./DVD, CD player
One room has en-suite facilities and a super king bed and the other room has private facilities which means it has its own shower, toilet and basin,but they are next door to the room, it also has a king size bed.
There are lovely views to the rear of the house that take in the estuary and surrounding countryside which you will be able to enjoy at breakfast.
The Bed and Breakfast at Rosevanion is in the top flat accessed via 5 outside steps and then up some internal stairs.

The pictures to your left show the pretty harbour surrounded by shops, restaurants and pubs,Rock which is across the estuary, can be reached by a short trip on the ferry, here you will find, more lovely beaches, sand dunes and a links Golf course, also restaurants and pub and Rock saining club. St Enodoc links golf club is just on the other side of the estuary can be reached by the ferry boat or a drive, the little church where John Betchaman is burried is on part of the golf course. There are fishing trips from the harbour. There is Padstow sailing club where you can hire boats or canoes. The picture of the estuary is looking down towards the mouth of the estuary and out to sea, it is always pretty whether the tide is in or out. The old railway track now called the camel trail which you can walk or cycle is down the hill from Rosevanion just 3 minutes walk, you can hire bikes and cycle for many miles along by the estuary and then through pretty woods up to Bodmin and beyond.
There
are lots of lovely coastal walks and country walks all within easy
distance. The harbour is just 8 minutes walk away where you
will find many shops, pubs and restaurants, not forgetting Rick
Steins Sea food Restaurant, Bistro, cafe or new fish and chip shop, Padstow is an ideal spot from which to explore the whole of Cornwall Landsend is about 1hour 20 minutes, the Eden Project is about 40 minutes, not to mention all the lovely beaches that are just 5-10 minutes from Padstow. Hawkers cove is walking distance from Padstow, a long sandy beach with sand dunes. Catch the ferry to Rock and walk along the dunes or have a meal and look over the estuary to Padstow the views and walks are lovely on both sides. . |
